Ryan's Steakhouse serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is a buffet-type restaurant that also offers meals to order. Upon arriving at Ryan’s families first place their orders (meals or buffet) and get their drinks, napkins, and silverware. Then, they are seated by a hostess.

On the food buffet, Ryan’s usually has two to three kinds of soups, a salad bar with two kinds of lettuce combinations and a large variety of toppings and fruit, two hot food bars with meats, vegetables, and starches, a carving bar, and a dessert bar. Each table is also served warm rolls with honey butter.
